Inicios: De niño, viajé mucho, gracias al trabajo de militar de mi papá. Lo cual me sirvió para aprender varios idiomas. Estudié Comunicación Social en la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello y me gradué en 1999, en la mención: Comunicación Audiovisual. Desde el segundo año de la carrera, me metí de lleno en el mundo del cine, siendo desde asistente, hasta talento en cortometrajes. Así empezó mi carrera como actor. ¿Practicas algún deporte? Sí. Cuando tengo tiempo, nado, hago actividades al aire libre, subo la montaña y ahora también estoy practicando kárate libre. Me gustan las artes marciales.
¿Tienes mascota? Sí. Una tortuguita y dos pececitos que se llaman Chata y Abuelo. Realmente los animalitos son de mi sobrino, pero los siento como mascotas mías también ¡Jajaja!
Un momento especial de tu vida: Son tantos los momentos especiales en mi vida, pero recuerdo especialmente el día que cargué a mi sobrino por primera vez.
¿Qué haces en tu tiempo libre? Nada estrafalario. Voy al cine, salgo con mis amigos. Si tengo novia, paso el día con ella.
¿Cocinas? Lo suficiente como para no morirme de hambre. Lo que mejor me queda es el arroz blanco normal. Me queda mejor que el de mi mamá ¡Jajaja!
¿Qué comida prefieres? La comida criolla y si me preguntan por un plato en particular, la pizca andina que hace mi abuela.
Tipo de música que escuchas: De todo. Desde Caramelos de Cianuro hasta Soledad Bravo.
¿Tienes algún amor platónico? Venezolana: Ruddy Rodríguez. Internacional: Diane Lane.
¿Qué es lo primero que le ves a una mujer? Depende de por donde venga caminando, si por delante o por atrás ¡Jajaja! Generalmente, me fijo mucho en los ojos.
¿Cómo es tu mujer ideal? No tengo un prototipo físico. Me gusta una mujer echada para adelante, guerrera, independiente, cariñosa, dulce y que me consienta mucho.
Si no fueses artista ¿qué serías? Yo me estaba preparando para ser diplomático y trabajar en las relaciones internacionales.
¿Eres apasionado? Sí, mucho.

Beginnings: As a child I traveled a lot, thanks to my father’s military job. That allowed me to learn various languages. I studied Social Communications at the Andres Bello Catholic University and graduated in 1999 majoring in Audiovisual Communications. Ever since my second year in the career I became fully involved in the world of cinema, from assistant to showing talent in short films. That is how I began my career as an actor. As to my artistic training I have also received lessons from: Erhard Zach, Javier Pierella, Lisa Formosa, Marcelo Jartum.

Family Ties: My mother’s name is Soday and my father’s name is Filiberto . I have an older sister whose name is Nataly and a nephew named Enrique Alberto and a niece, Maria Camila.
Languages: Spanish,German, English, French and Italian.
Who was your first love?It was a little girl from Barinas and I was about 10 years old, but I won’t tell you her name! Jajaja!
Describe yourself in three words: Hardworking, forgetful and perseverant.

Do you have pets? Yes. A little turtle and two little fishes that are named Chata and Abuelo. Actually, they are my nephew’s pets but I feel like they are mine as well! Jajaja!
A special moment in your life: There are so many special moments in my life, but I especially remember the day I held my nephew for the very first time.
What do you do in your free time? Nothing extravagant. I go to the movies, go out with friends. If I have a girlfriend then I spend the day with her.
Do you cook? Enough to keep me from starving to death. What I cook the best is white rice. It is even better than my mother’s! Jajaja!
What is your favorite food? Creole food and if I want something specific, my grandmother’s Pizca Andina.

If you hadn’t become an actor, what would you be? I was preparing to be a diplomat and to work in international relations.
Are you passionate? Yes, very much so.
Jealous? The usual. If I am given reason, yes.
Is there something you profoundly desire that you have not accomplished yet? Yes, many things, not just one. For example, start a family. I dream that the people of my country can live happily and have their basic needs met.
Sacrifices of your career: I don’t believe in sacrifices, I believe in effort.
Rewards: Having the opportunity to do what enjoy. So I look at it not as work, but as pleasure.
Favorite perfume: On women, I like Dune. For me, I like anything from Hugo Boss.
Most sensitive part of your body: Depends on the touch. If I am touched the right way, any part is sensitive! Jajaja!

Party ? A little, but when I do party, the next day around 10 in the morning you can usually find me eating an arepa at Las Mercedes after all the parties.
For a vacation getaway, what do you prefer? The beach, mountains, rainforest? Depends. For a quiet vacation, I prefer the mountains. For a wild vacation I prefer the beach and for an adventurous vacation I prefer the rainforest! Jajaja!
Hollywood? A place full of opportunity.
Any obsessions? Yes. I call it “Micropapelomania”! Jajaja! What happens is I can’t see a piece of paper, napkin or bag without shredding it to pieces. I would like to have the talent to make origami. I also drink a lot of coffee, at least 3 cups a day.
