The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story Follows both the titular designer, played by Edgar Ramirez, and Cunanan, the man who killed him. The series cuts back and forth between the murder in July 1997 and various points in both men’s lives. Penelope Cruz plays Gianni’s sister Donatella and Ricky Martin is Versace’s longtime love Antonio D’Amico.
The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story will premiere January 17 on FX.
